(The Andropause Society)
is an International Charity with offices in London UK.
The aims of the Society are:
(i) the advancement of education and training in the
medical understanding and treatment of androgen deficiency;
(ii) the relief of sickness, in particular, of the
short and long term consequences of androgen deficiency;
(iii) the protection and preservation of the public health,
in particular of the ageing population.

This
site is dedicated to the training of Medical Professionals
in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Androgen Deficiency in Men
This ONLINE TRAINING COURSE aims to provide the basic
information needed by Physicians to diagnose and treat Androgen
Deficiency in men by way of a progressive series of on-line
modules containing lectures, course material, and assessment
questionaires. Downloadable slide sheets allow the Trainee
to takes notes during the lecture, and to complete a full
A4 Training Manual. The lectures themselves can be played
as many times as necessary, and navigated backwards and forwards
at will.
Students will graduate with a certificate provided by SSAD on proof of satisfactory completion of the Course, and a listing, if requested, in the directory of trained physicians which is maintained by the SSAD Help Centre for lay members.
The Multiple Choice Questionnaire relating to each lecture has to be at least 80% correct before the student can progress to the next module.
